Radical Citizen Media is an independent media outlet documenting and reporting on Edmonton’s progressive political scene through photographs and videos. It is entirely produced by a team of one – a professional journalist who makes a living through her words and images. Here is a personal appeal:

“I have been doing this for over a decade now, with the only support I receive being the thanks and appreciation of my peers and community (which means a lot to me). My work has earned me numerous awards and accolades, also for which I am grateful.

However, the work that goes into operating this website is growing. The demands on my time to attend events; film and photograph them; then follow up with editing, post-production, and uploading, are increasing. I have to deal with server costs, transportation, wear and tear on my equipment, all while keeping up with my paid work.
