Support Our Veteran Jimmy

Donation protected
On Tuesday May 1st, Jimmy suffered a stroke.  He was airlifted to the Jersey Shore hospital.  The hospital and his family began discussing hospice and comfort care.  He was paralyzed on his right side, the bleeding was in the cerebrum portion of the brain, which controls the coordination of voluntary activity, such as swallowing, as well as reason, planning, memory, and sensory integration. Miraculously Jimmy showed signs of understanding what had happened. After weeks of multiple complications Jimmy was put on a feeding tube, but now there was hope.  Hope that Jimmy might recover and his family made whole again.

After the first day of rehab, where Jimmy was attempting to regain movement on right side and basic motor skills.  During this process, Jimmy fell and hit his head. Which caused more bleeding in his brain. It seems that our Marine is a fighter, as he is back on the road to recovery. After almost a full month in the hospital, he is still making progress.

Jimmy has served our country in the marine corps, clearing vietnam tunnels to ensure the safety of our troops. He is a proud vet, who is still dedicated to serving our country.

Everyday is a struggle, between missed work, bills piling up, and the medical bills that are accruing without knowing exactly what the VA will cover, there is so much uncertainty.  Please, help us by donating or sharing.  Every little bit can be life changing.
