Nathan, born on May 31, 2002 in Independence, Missouri, is the son of Thomas L. and JoAnna L. Miller. Nathan has two sisters, Colette and Moriah.
A student of Lee’s Summit West High School, Nathan was an inspiration to not only his junior classmates, but to other students that will come after him. Already having started college this past summer through the Missouri Innovations Campus in conjunction with Longview Community College and The University of Central Missouri, Nathan was on his way to academic success and no doubt a prosperous career in cyber security. Nathan was a member of the National Youth Cyber Education Program, CyberPatriot Team at the Summit Technology Academy, as well as an avid outdoorsman.
Nathan had multiple hobbies, enjoying a wide variety of experiences that life had to offer him. He especially enjoyed being active, playing musical instruments such as his trumpet, participating in Boy Scouts, ROTC, broadcasting, fishing, camping, archery, hunting, long boarding, aviation, church youth groups and other similar activities. Of course, this includes making time for his many friends.
Nathan is preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, Fredrick and Lawrence Marthelia Miller, and two paternal uncles, Fredrick “Buddy” Miller and Patrick Miller.
He is survived by his loving parents, Thomas and JoAnna Miller; twin sister Colette J. Miller; younger sister Moriah E. Miller; maternal grandparents Ray and Francie Dickensheets; maternal uncle Marc Dickensheets (Amber); paternal uncle Anthony Miller (Jane); four paternal aunts Martina Combs (Al), Alvorama Miller, Patricia Miller, and Connaitre Miller and nine cousins.
