Support My Father's Battle with Leukemia

My name is Mauricio Aimar Cuevas and thank you for taking the time to read about my family and what my father is currently going through. I am 16, and I live in Los Angeles, California. In early January 2019, my father fell ill with what doctors thought was anemia, but later turned out to be Leukemia. My father is the strongest fighter I know and has fought through 3 weeks in the hospital and countless chemotherapy treatment. A few weeks ago, we received the good news that my father's white blood cell count was high enough for him to leave the hospital and return home. However, he has not fully recovered and is not feeling 100%. He is continuing his chemotherapy treatments and taking other medication. The doctor stressed to our family how important it is to keep the house clean, and advised us to buy a Airpura air filter to keep the house conditions safe for my father. The reason for this GoFundMe is because my father and mother are unable to continue their daily work schedules, which leaves my older brother responsible for a lot of costs. My family cannot afford the air filter and the other costs are rising. The most important thing is that my father is healthy and without the air filter, the doctor said even a little illness can bring my father back to the hospital. If I can raise $2000, I will be able to help my father buy the air filter and start to help with any other costs around the house.
