I’m 20 years old, a full-time college student, and I’m working part time for minimum wage while trying to build a stable future for myself. Right now, I’m balancing school, work, everyday expenses, and the pressure of becoming financially independent. I don’t come from a rich family, and while my parents have helped me, I know they cannot support me forever.
I started this fundraiser because I’m struggling to keep up with the basics while also trying to move forward with my life. It’s hard to focus on school and plan for the future when I’m also worrying about how to cover my phone bill, buy essentials like body wash and toothpaste, afford food, and save toward an apartment. I’m trying to take real steps toward living on my own, but it has been difficult to get that start while managing both work and college at the same time.
The support from this fundraiser would help me keep up with these ongoing needs as they come up: staying current on my phone bill, covering basic necessities and food, and slowly building savings for an apartment so I can work toward independence. Predictable support through recurring donations would make a real difference because these expenses do not happen just once. Monthly or regular help would give me more stability as I continue school and work toward supporting myself. One-time donations would also mean a lot and would help relieve some of the immediate pressure.
If you’re able to give or share this fundraiser, I would be deeply grateful. Any support will help me take meaningful steps toward supporting myself and building an independent life.
