Support injured Soldier and family

On Thursday, October 12th, Cristian Garcia was severely wounded in Afghanistan. I taught Cristian during all 4 years of his high school career as his Army JROTC Instructor. This account is for Cristian and his mother Tamarra Huerta. Tamarra has given me permission to set things up to help their family during this difficult time.

As a member of 4th BDE, 25TH I'D Cristian was on a combined patrol as an MRAP gunner. His vehicle was hit by an RPG and Cristian sustained shrapnel wounds to the face, neck, chest arms and legs. He was MEDEVACd to Bagram and then further on to Germany. The picture was taken in Germany after surgery. Cristian will be moved to Walter Reed Army Medical Center on Monday where he will need to undergo multiple surgeries on his road to recovery. Cristian's mom Tamara should be by his side. Tamara is a single mom and the only bill payer in the family. These donations will go a long ways in helping Tamarra pay her bills so she can be by Cristians's side.
