Hello friends! I am attempting to raise money to help pay for my last semester at college. I was unfortunately notified by my university 3 weeks after tuition was due that they wanted another 2200 dollars from me. While this was very unprofessional of them, I have done everything I can to try and work it out with the university, so now I am approximately 2200 dollars in debt.
Currently I am working 15-20 hours a week to help pay for this. Along with taking 5 rigorous courses which include Orbital Space Dynamics and Flight Mechanics, I honestly feel a bit overwhelmed. I was told by several people working for the university that working 15-20 hours a week and taking 5 engineering courses would be too much for me to handle. I promptly told them that I really do not have a choice either way as my family is not in the financial situation to simply "Give me money" as they put it.
Aside from the way my university is treating me, I am putting forth significant effort to cover my costs. I am doing odd jobs, eating out less, going out with friends less and doing all that I can to still live somewhat humanely but economically.
Since I was a Sophomore in high school my parents NEVER had to pay for books. I worked summer jobs tutoring and as a expo for restaurants so that I could pay for everything without burdening my parents. I am blessed to say that my family is doing much better than they were 5 years ago however this cost coming out of nowhere would be a detriment to the current financial situation of my family.
If you can find it in your heart to donate, I promise that after I graduate and get a real job if you so wish I will pay you back whatever you donated to me. If you want tutoring for a sibling, or computer help or anything I am more than wiling to provide it.
I am not looking for a hand me out and as many of my friends know it pains me to have to ask for help as I am a very proud person when it comes to working hard, but the last thing I want to do is burden my family when they are working so hard to pull themselves out of where we have been my entire life. If you could find it in your heart to help I would seriously appreciate it and I will gladly pay you back if you so wish when I get my engineering job after I graduate.

My hardest battle is currently my mental health as many people say taking 5 senior level engineering classes is really difficult but adding on 15-20 hours of work a week is what really has me drained. I will never give up but any amount of relief would seriously help. I have some good friends who really take care of me and I am blessed to have so much support from all of you out there!
