Dear All,
I would personally like to thank each and everyone of you who shared & donated to this campaign.
The money raised has been absolutely incredible! I have spoken with the family who are exceptionally grateful for everyone’s support.
Originally I had set up to raise a small amount of money to give to the family from those who wanted to help. Since this has grown larger and larger, the responsibility has become too much for one person, as well as I have received some not so positive messages questioning my genuiness and integrity. I think for sums larger than this amount it is more suitably organised and coordinated by a charity rather than an individual person.
As a friend of Henry I am incredibly proud of all the help and support that people have given towards his family. They will be given this money in full ASAP.

Dear All,
Unfortunately in the early hours of Saturday morning 26/05/18, our dear friend Henry John Acorda was attacked on the street for protecting his friends whilst a man pursued them. On 31/05/18, Henry succumbed to his injuries and unfortunately passed away.
Henry was the best of us all and is unfortunately leaving many family & friends grieving in his wake. As friends, we kindly ask for support for Henry's family in his torrid time. His family have flown from the Philippines and anything you can do to financially aide will be most gratefully received.
There is no target in which we hope to achieve, just as much as can be possible will mean the world to the family.
Rest in Peace Henry, you will be dearly missed,

Henry was a good friend of mine
The funds will be given in full to Henry's family. I have spoken with them personally and met them twice since they arrived. The money will be put to use for and help in flights, accomodation, expenses for Henrys case etc. It will provide help and ease of mine for a family that has lost their beloved son & brother.
As Henry's family reside in the Philippines, I cannot send them the money straight from this account. I will withdraw the money into my bank account and transfer this across to their personal bank account (this has been agreed with the Mother & Sister of Henry face to face).
