Support Frick Impact Academy!

Frick Impact Academy (FIA) is a middle school in the Oakland Unified School District serving 265 students and their families. Our student body is almost entirely black and hispanic, and over ¼ are English Language Learners. Our teachers and staff work collaboratively to support academic and socio-emotional development through initiatives like music and art electives, a free medical and dental clinic available to students and families, and a schoolwide training on meditation and mindfulness.

Our printing and copying room is essential to student success at FIA. Few staff members can spend a day without copying worksheets for class, printing information to share with families, or using our poster printer to publicize events and student opportunities. However, district budget cuts mean that our school does not have enough funding for this basic resource. We ask for your help in purchasing printing ink, toner and other necessary supplies, so our school can continue to operate effectively.

We need $2000 to purchase enough supplies to sustain our school community for the rest of the 2017-2018 school year. Your donation will assist teachers in providing a valuable education for every student at Frick Impact Academy.
