On Monday April 22, 2019, we tragically lost our dear friend Jae Dong An. He was the owner of Broadway Grocery, a mini mart in Everett, Washington located at 6900 Broadway Ave. He was killed by a fellow community member during a robbery.
Everyone that came through the little local store knew his smile, he was always laughing and joking with his customers. He loved life, and was happy to serve us, it was his pleasure. He made each customer feel like a family member and not just some joe off the street. If you were short on change he would let it slide, he knows we all have tough times. Jae was the nicest man with the kindest heart.
I am hoping that as a community we can embrace this family and show our love and support!!
