**UPDATE** The funeral service for Shannon will be on Saturday, 1/19/19 at 12pm at St. Andrew’s Church in Sag Harbor, NY. A reception will follow.

Please continue prayers, support and love for Shannon’s family, who are in their darkest hours with her tragic passing.

************

On a day when most were celebrating the New Year, Shannon's family got the unbearable news that she had undergone cardiac arrest and now remains on life support in Sydney, Australia.

With her family being half way around the world, everyone is doing everything we can to be there for her and help during this devastatingly sad and unknown time.

Funds will be used to help cover medical expenses and travel expenses for her family to be with her in Australia. This is also a way we can show support and love while being far away from Shannon, who we love so very much.

To everyone who has contributed, reached out, said prayers and kept Shannon in their thoughts:

Mary, Dave, Christa, Davey and Caroline wanted to send their gratitude to all who have sent love, prayers and offered help to their family during this sad time.

Mary said: "This campaign has been amazing in alleviating the financial burden as well as allowing us to see and feel the outpouring of love for Shannon and our family."

Let us please continue to send our love and prayers to Shannon's entire family as they prepare for her funeral and begin looking towards what this future without her in it looks like.

As we grapple with the heartbreak of Shannon's passing, her father, David, and her sister, Christa, remain in Australia to sort through logistics and are eager to return home as soon as possible. Once there is an update on funeral and memorial services, we will share it, though due to the geographic distance, we understand it may take some time.

Shannon's entire family continues to be moved and comforted by the outpouring of love, support and the generosity of all those who loved Shannon. We are continuing to raise funds which the family will be able to apply to medical expenses, travel and logistical expenses and costs that may be associated with future visits to see Shannon's children in months and years to come. Thank you for your generosity, prayers and love.
