Sierra Leone Community in Minnesota (SLCM) appeals for urgent funds for flood victims in Sierra Leone.
On August 14, 2017 Freetown the capital city of Sierra Leone experienced the most deadly mudslide and devastating floods, which claim the lives and properties of hundreds. In the first five hours of the disaster, emergency response services discovered over 200 corpses including children and women. This number is increasing every hour.
We are raising $10k to provide food, clothing and medication to those effected from this mudslide and devastating floods. Funds will be used to buy food items, medication, and clothing for the victims.
