Support for Lee and Connie Carter

The Brain Bleed, What Happened:

Our dad Lee (who is 72 years old) and his amazing wife Connie have been working tirelessly the past few weeks to finish the renovation on their home so that they could have their home reappraised. They needed this reappraisal so that they can make their house payments more reasonable.

He and Connie have been doing all the work themselves. On Thursday my dad was painting and fell back and hit his head. Everything seemed fine but then Connie found him Sunday morning unresponsive and having what they believe was a massive seizure. He stopped breathing a couple times and needed CPR.

Once at the hospital, they found that he had bleeding on the brain. They immediately took him back for emergency surgery to remove the clot and drain the blood.

The next 2-3 day will tell us more about his condition. The doctors are cautiously optimistic that he will recover but we won't know for a couple more days.

About Our Dad

Lee served in the armed forces and then went on to be a Glendora Police Officer, eventually moving to serving families in the real estate industry where he has spent the past 40+ years . He has also served as a prominent leader in his church since I was a child.

He has helped so many during their time of need that I believe in my heart that its his turn to be supported during his time of need.

What the Money Will Be Used For:

The appraisal of the house is scheduled for this Friday but there is much work to get done before then. We'd like to pay for a couple of people to come in and finish the work and purchase any supplies needed.

In addition to that, we would like to be sure that Connie doesn't have to worry about their basic expenses and bills in the coming weeks as our Dad recovers.  My dad is the soul provider.

My family would so appreciate anything you can offer in financial giving and in prayer.

Thank you so much,
