After suffering through several months of stomach discomfort,  our friend, University of Colorado Colorado Springs Police Officer Larry  Darnall recently went in for a routine checkup with his family doctor .  After explaining the pain and discomfort he was feeling, he hoped to find out that maybe he had a stomach bug or possibly a torn muscle, but instead was given the news no one wants to receive, he was diagnosed with inoperable stage 3 pancreatic cancer. His doctors will begin aggressive chemotherapy treatments in the next few days in hopes of shrinking the tumor enough to attempt a surgical removal.  Larry will require 3 to 4 months of chemotherapy treatments beginning as soon as possible as well as radiation therapy and future surgeries. We are hoping that through this fund, Larry will be helped with medical expenses, potential travel expenses for out of state hospital stays, and other bills associated with his treatment.
