This year has been a tough year for Julianna and Jay. It started with a week stay in the hospital for Jay, where he was diagnosed with congestive heart failure. Always the optimist Jay started focusing on his health and lost 70 pounds.
Current update: Both Julianna and Jay have lost their jobs and, concerned about their financial situation, Jay didn't renew some of his more costly medication. The result was a mini stroke and a grand mal seizure followed by a week in the hospital. Jay is unable to drive (DMV rules) for the next 3 months, making life in Marin County even more complicated. Neither of them have health insurance right now.
Beautiful community, Julianna and Jay need our support right now. Our goal is to raise enough for 4 months' rent, plus the 8% fee this site charges. It's clearly not enough, but it will give them a small cushion while Jay recovers.
