Support for Jackson and family

Jackson is 16. He was having seizures and migraines for years, not knowing what they were. Being the selfless guy that he is he down played his symptoms so no one would worry. Last Novemeber he finally had an MRI that showed a fairly large brain lesion that will most likely require surgery this summer.

It has restricted many of his daily routines as a teenager and requires several diagnostic and maintenance appointments monthly to Miami Nicklaus Children's Hospital.


Jackson has amazing parents that both work full time to support him and his younger sister.


They have health insurance, but it only covers so much and the medical bills are piling up. I am amazed by their strength while going though this. His mother never leaves his bedside while he is hospitalized and his father is always willing to make the long drive to be there as well.


Jackson is in the Environmental Science Academy at school, he played football on the high school team and has hopes to play again. He also loves photography and is quite good at it.


He has been my daughters boyfriend and best friend for over a year. We consider him to be family and love having him around. He is kind, funny, smart and exactly the kind of guy I had hoped my daughter would be with.
