Pedestrian Accident-Dock Hodge

I was a little hesitant about starting this campaign because my husband and I have always managed to make way for our family. But with such a tragic accident that has happened, friends and family recommending I figured I would start this under the circumstances at hand.
My husband Dock is a owner operator truck driver. While over the road working in Cartersville, Ga on October 27th he was staying in a motel for the night for the next morning he would be delivering his load. He and another truck driver were walking across the street to a local restaurant to get one of there phones that they had forget there. While crossing the street and no oncoming traffic he went to step in the median and was then hit by a car that made a quick turn. The car then hit his right leg causing a fibula/tibula compound fracture breaking through the skin. It through him on to the windshield then off of the car where he slid across the pavement. All causing a severe concussion, hematoma/head injury with 32 staples, 8 stitches down his face. They done surgery to his leg putting in a rod and pins, when they done the surgery he lost the whole tendon that lets you move your foot up and down. He has approximately 70 staples in his leg.
They let him come home the following Sunday back in Kentucky to start recovering. All the while no one in Kentucky will touch him because of the injuries and being an pedestrian accident happening in Ga. So he now has to continue to go back and forth to Ga to be cared for.
It could be approximately up to 18 months before they can release him to go back to work. Just depending on how he recovers and the use of his leg. He was our only source of income for I wasn't working to care for his mother who recently passed. Accidents happen I know that and it could have been much worse. I'm just thankful that God seen fit to leave him here on Earth for our kids and I.
Every little bit helps and even if you do not donate anything all we ask is for prayers. If hadn't been for prayers we wouldn't have made it this far. Thank you to all in advance.
