Dear friends, it is with great sadness that we have learned of Alejandro's passing last night (5/8/17). He passed away peacefully in the presence of his family and loved ones.

His family is so grateful for the outpouring of love and support you all have given in the days since the accident. They continue to need assistance with funeral and medical expenses, as well as your thoughts and prayers.
A donation of any size is greatly appreciated.

As many of you know, our dear friend and longtime Breakers Academy alum Alejandro Lopez suffered life-threatening injuries in an accident this week. He is currently in the hospital in critical condition.

One of the small ways our community can show our support to Alejandro and his family is through a donation to help cover the many medical expenses related to his recovery.   Please consider donating what you can to help the family at this time.

Please keep Alejandro and his family in your thoughts and prayers at this time.

Thank you all for your generous donations, thoughts, prayers and for sharing the support for Alejandro site with your friends and family. After a very difficult period and a few surgeries, Alejandro has been able to open his eyes and use his hands to indicate recognition of friends and family. His road to recovery is still very long, but this progress is promising considering his initial diagnosis. We will continue to share information as it becomes available, but please continue to keep Alejandro in your thoughts and prayers at this time. Alejandro’s family is very grateful to all for this amazing show of love and support.

There are no words for a family who has lost so much. Alejandro and his family will be in my prayers. I've been reminded again that God'sgift are sometimes short lived on this earth, so I'll remember to kiss my son and praise God for the gift of allowing me to have another day with my loved ones. I pray for strength to this family and hope they know that there are strangers praying and pleading for their pain to be bearable. Wishing there was something I could do. Sending all my love and warm hugs!
