Support for Abra

I am seeking support for a friend and colleague - Physiotherapist Abra Baal.
Abra was recently diagnosed with a brain tumour (astrocytoma). As a result she had to undergo brain surgery and will unfortunately have to be off work for at least one year as she is treated with several rounds of chemo and radiation.
She is at home recovering from the surgery awaiting the next steps in her plan of care. It is a lot to process, it’s a scary situation and has been an emotional roller coaster for her and her family.
As we all know, living in Vancouver is terribly expensive. I am asking for your help to provide Abra with any financial support possible to help to get her through this next year until she is fit to return to work. She is two years into her Physiotherapy career and is still paying off her student loans in addition to all of her regular expenses. She has so much to worry about at the moment, finances should not be an additional stressor in a situation like this.
Abra is resilient, strong and has a positive attitude. She is passionate about her work as a Physiotherapist as misses the ability to practice very much. She is such an energetic, kind and thoughtful person who is faced with a challenge that no one should have to go through. Any help would be very much appreciated. She would be eternally grateful for any help that you can provide.
