Support Delores Odom

This Saturday evening, my mom was on her way to grab some food (those of you who know her, know she loves to eat and walks everywhere) when she was hit by a car in a cross walk. The person who hit her left her in the street and ran.   If you know my mother, she is literally one of the kindest and most giving people in the entire world. She has had to fight so hard for life due to various ailments so to have some careless person nearly be the end of her journey is unfathomable.  San Diego PD is investigating this incident and we are waiting to see if the suspect will turn himself in. 

My mom is in the hospital with a broken back and will have a long road to recovery after surgery. We will use these funds for any medical costs throughout this time and to cover any additional expenses throughout her rehabilitation and healing hopefully including a home health nurse to aid in her recovery when she is released. There was also a really nice gentleman who saw the whole accident and stood in the middle of the street with my mom until the ambulance came to make sure she didn't get hit again and if we can find him, I would love to give him a portion of these donations for his kindness.
