Helping Albin's family
Donation protected
Many people called Albin a friend, even if they had only known him for a short time. He was always ready to offer services or help to anyone who needed it, and many people depended on him for much more than just their transportation needs.
In February, Albin spent more than two weeks in one of the best hospitals in Honduras. While he received excellent care there with the hope that he would respond to treatments, it came at a high price: the intensive care unit costs more than $4,000 per day.
We were surprised and saddened by his death, and we grieve with his wife, Osiris, and his three young children. We recognize that in addition to facing grief, Osiris is also faced with daunting hospital bills. This campaign goal is just a portion of that, but any amount of help would be a great blessing to the family. We set up this campaign as one way to show our love for Albin and his family, and our thanks for all that he did for visitors to La Union, as well as people across Honduras.
