SuperKenzie's night time caregiving

Donation protected
We are asking for your help to be able to financially continue to provide caregiver coverage for Kenzie, during the night time. Due to Kenzie being fully paralyzed and on a ventilator to breath, she requires 24 hour care.

February 18th 2018, marked 2 years since our world forever changed and our daughter Kenzie became fully paralyzed in under 2 hours. I still remember that morning like it was a few hours ago....getting myself and my older two children ready for the work/school day while Kenzie was asleep in my room. Heard her talking away in bed as I was finishing curling my hair. I went into the bedroom to get my 8 month old daughter for morning snuggles and took her into the living room to play with her older brother and sister, while I made their school lunches. Looking into the living room I see Kenzie pulling herself up to a standing position while holding onto a bench. Once she spotted me, down into crawling mode she went and crawled across the living room, to my feet and looked up at me all smiles
Dropping her of at childcare was like any other morning, she was grabbing at my face and trying to give me big slobbery kisses as I told the sitter about Kenzie's night. I arrived back at the home at noon to nurse Kenzie and found her laying in a pack n play with her head slightly trembling and her blinking very rapidly. When I picked Kenzie up her body was fully flaccid (limp). Kenzie had been playing that morning, been laid down for a nap an hour and 45 minutes before my arrival.
From this point forward it becomes a blur. I took Kenzie directly to the ER, was in a helicopter headed to the children's hospital within the hour. Multiple tests and scans were ran. The doctors told us to go to the hotel to get some rest and they would call us when the results come in. We got a call at 1am......Transverse Myelitis.....

Kenzie has gained over the last 2 years. She is stable, for the most part, comfortable and has regained movement in her neck and shoulders. We don't know what the future holds in store for her.

Thank you to each and everyone of you who take the time to follow SuperKenzies journey, offer prayers and provide support for our family through this crazy and sometimes very scary path in our life.
