My passion is dancing. It all started about 6 years ago when I walked into my first ballet class. As soon as I started a simple plié... I knew then that it was something I wanted to do for the rest of my life. I saw that I was blessed with a body capable of moving and I wanted to use it. God gives everyone a talent and a gift to use that will ultimately give Him glory. He gave me a passion for dance. The feeling of being able to express how I feel or how the character I’m playing feels is magical. I can be myself or be someone else. No, dancing isn’t easy. Yes, sometimes it hurts and it’s very painful. I know have a long way to go. This is only the beginning. We will never know what the future holds. As of now, this is what I want and something I’ve prayed over desperately. God has never EVER failed to show up. He’s always answered my prayers and therefore letting me know, “right now this is where I want you.” My main goal is to give God the glory through my dancing. I have a big family and it’s hard for me to be able to experience other types of training. Ballet isn’t cheap. I was blessed last year to go to Mississippi for 2 weeks to train in dance. I grew stronger. The teachers inspired me so much. I also made friendships that will last a lifetime. When you dance, you have to be able to think about the technical aspect but also dance and express yourself through that movement. I auditioned this year for 2 summer intensives. I got into both unexpectedly. My choice is Orlando Ballet for 3 weeks. The training I will receive there will be phenomenal. I need help to go. I’m not begging or pushing you to give or donate. All I ask is if you feel led to give then give. It will be used to better my training and make me a step closer to reaching my dream!
