Summer Fest - Seattle Teen Music
Seattle Teen Music is raising money to send a select group of students from the School of Rock in Lynnwood WA to the largest music festival in the world - SummerFest.
Each year thousands of musicians play to a million concert goers in Milwaukee. This year the School of Rock Lynnwood is sending their House Band for the first time, and they could really use your help! The kids have all gone through the audition process, and the school has been selected to participate, so now it is on to the fundraising!
This year's lineup (along with School of Rock Lynnwood) includes bands such as Journey, Jethro Tull, Imagine Dragons, Bonnie Raitt, The Posies, The Flaming Lips...and even Blake Shelton. The kids will be performing on the same stage as these great artists and have a chance to attend their shows and meet them. How cool is that?!?
All money raised will be used to defray the travel and lodging costs to send 8 kids. We have set the target number lower than the funds needed so please feel free to 'overachieve' on your generosity! This event will be a lifelong memory for these kids, so thank you for helping them along in their personal and music growth.
