Sullivan Family Strong

Donation protected
On November 28th 2016 my aunt, Nancy Sullivan was admitted to Hackensack Hospital after experiencing very severe headaches. She was later diagnosed with Stage 4 lung cancer that spread to her brain. A few days later, she underwent emergency brain surgery to remove the tumor which was thankfully, a success. However, to this day she continues battling this disease with a combination of chemotherapy, support of her loved ones & through pure determination.

Unfortunately, this would be just the beginning of the struggles that my aunt and her children would face. Two weeks ago, my Uncle D.J. (known to others as “D”, Danny and Daniel) was unexpectedly admitted to the hospital in a non-responsive state. After spending over a week in the ICU surrounded by his family and friends he sadly passed away. He loved boating, fishing, hunting and most of all, spending time with his family. The joy in his eyes as he watched Kaitlyn run, Justin play a song or Brandon catch a football was magical. There is nothing in the world that he loved more than his children and wife (of 30 years).

This has been a very difficult year for all of us, but even moreso for my Aunt and cousins. While we are all able to grieve and try to begin healing from this unexpected and sudden loss, they are all forced to face a barrage of medical bills and mounting day to day expenses from medical treatments, prescriptions, chemotherapy and even standard day to day expenses like food and electricity.

Anyone who is blessed enough to knows the Sullivans, knows that they are always the first to arrive when someone needs help.

Well, now they need our help. We’d like to help ease at least some of this burden, so they can focus on healing both spiritually and physically. Any donation no matter how big or small can go a long way to help them as they face down these ever-mounting challenges.

Thank you all for your time, donations and on-going support. Words can't describe how truly appreciated it is.

"The most beautiful things in life are not things. They're people, and places, and memories and pictures. They're feelings and moments and smiles and laughter."
