Suil an Craic: An Enflaith

Our Tribe are enroute along the ancient road ways. It is a route from Ballinskellig to Tara to Malin. The walk begins August 1st 2018.
They make this pilgrammage for us all. It is made in the name of Love and Unity. It is done so as to show people there is another way to exisit. A way with stories and music, with appreciation for this wonderful country that we all reside in. They walk to prove that we do not need this consumer storyline. They walk to instill hope and belief in all they meet. They walk for themselves, each other and this whole country. This is a walk of Evolution not Revolution.
Many of us are watching their transit, some of us will join them, others cannot due to life commitments. I have been asked how those who believe in this walk but cannot join can contribute. .
This walk is being done without any money. Those walking have left behind their jobs and means of income to pilgrammage. All work towards the preperations have been done for free and with full heart.
The journey has not completed, there is still much to be done. If you have any ability to print posters, market to towns, write a journalism piece/blog, photograph, assist in anyway to help our people journey safely. Please do get in contact.
We have identified that there are things that can make their journey easier and more pleasent...
I hope to place caches every 50km along the route. In these caches, I hope to place supplies such as non perishable food, soaps, medicines, blister plasters, lighters, Batteries, rubbish bags, socks ( ideas for the old socks, gratefully recieved) . I plan to place these caches at the wells that they will visit. There is a plan to clean the wells prior thier arrival so that they may have clean drinking water. (Any donations such as these will be gratefully recieved).
Other items such as bivy bags (canvas sleeping bag covers), gps trackers, headtorches, tents, decent sleeping bags, waterproof gear, gas for stoves, would all make this pilgrammage so much easier for the walkers. It would be wonderful if all these items could be donated, however if you dont own any of these and if they are not availible in the ether perhaps we could use the funds to purchase them.
If anyone is working festivals and finds lightweight, good quailty gear that the walkers could use please do grab em for em.
If anyone would like to help on the outsupport group (The Fianna) for the walkers, please do get in touch. The duties will be well cleaning, pathclearing, honourable mischief and general good craic as we roam ahead and alongside, stirring up excitement and creating safe spaces for thier arrival.
It is a call for anything that is lying unloved and unused that can aid our tribe on their journey. Poems and stories to cheer thier hearts, that old sleepingbag or singing bowl dusty in the corner, or if the case may be the coin that can help pay for the things they need.
