Please help the Suffern Robotics Team raise funds to attend the World Championship held in St. Louis, MO in April 2017!
We did it!!! Our season began in late August, and all our hard work and long hours paid off! For the first time, the Suffern High School Robotics Team won the FIRST Tech Challenge (FTC) East Super Regional Championship in Scranton, PA, with an amazing come from behind victory. It was truly incredible!
Now we go on to compete in the FIRST Tech Challenge World Championship Robotics Competition in St. Louis, MO from April 26-29, 2017! The team has a lot to do, to prepare as we go to represent New York’s Hudson Valley at this very prestigious competition comprised of 128 teams out of over 10,000 competitors from all around the world.
Please help us get there! We appreciate your generous support to offset the expenses involved with traveling with our team and our robot to St. Louis. Fundraising makes it possible for every student to participate in this experience.
This is not only a great opportunity, but also a testament to our growing knowledge and application of technology and its capabilities. We designed in CAD then built our robot to meet the challenges of the competitions all season. We each had a part that contributed to our team's success. The skills we have all learned are invaluable.
The support from the community is critical and your generous donation will allow us to focus on preparing for the competition rather than on how we will get there.
