Studying in Tahiti

The tickets are purchased, the trip is booked. This summer I will take a journey to Tahiti...
If you don't already know, I am part of a Tahitian dance group and have been working my butt off for almost a year. A few weeks ago I was asked to join a smaller team within our group to take my love for Ori Tahiti even further.
We have been invited to Tahiti for 10 days to participate in a cultural immersion program including French and Tahitian language, history of the islands and culture, costume making, drumming, ukulele, dance classes, then of course attending the ultimate dance competition... the Heiva Tahiti. At the end of my course I am tested on what I have learned... eek!
For the past few months I have done various fundraisers to help me reach my goal, and I am close... but lets face it, Tahiti is expensive! Also, every month until our trip I have to make somewhat large deposits.
Asking for money is uncomfortable, but if you can help it would be greatly appreciated. Every bit counts! I will be posting photos, videos, and performing up until my trip, so you can all see my progress. While we are there I will do the same!
