Studying at Shakespeare's Globe

I am so fortunate to have been accepted to study abroad summer 2019 in London at Shakespeare's Globe! I am going with a group of students from the Johnny Carson School at UNL for 4 weeks to work as an ensemble and put on a performance at the Globe Theatre. This is such an incredible opportunity and I'm infinitely grateful for it. 

I am a second year student at the University of Nebraska-Lincoln, and as of this Winter 2018, I am technically junior standing because I've completed extra credits, and the Globe program would put me on track to graduate as early as Winter 2020. 

As I expected, the cost of going out of the country for the program is a little steep, which is why I decided to make a fundraising page. My parents are so supportive and incredible, and they take care of my housing and tuition for the school year. Because of this, I wanted to see if I could raise the majority of the money I need to send me to London in honor of them and all of their support. This fundraising goal includes my tuition for the six credit hours I will gain while in London, the cost of participation in the Globe's program, and the fees I have to pay to the University and to our Study Abroad center.

In exchange for the donations, I will be posting video blogs weekly when I'm in London and sharing the link with anyone who donates as a token of my gratitude and so you can see what you helped make happen! I'll talk about what I'm doing and learning as a part of my studies, and film as many beautiful sights and experiences as I can.

I'm trying to raise as much money as I can before May, which is when we leave for the trip, so please consider donating if you are able! I'm so grateful for my college education, and this chance to enrich it is truly a once in a lifetime opportunity. Any amount at all puts me closer to my goal of taking care of the program and tuition fees so my parents don't have to!
