Students' Night in a Box
Donation protected
To combat the serious problem of homelessness and to become a part the solution, I am organizing a Night in a Box event as part of my Senior Project. I plan to raise awareness in the community by experiencing what people who are homeless live with. Wakefield students and staff will be given a box to sleep in and will spend the chilly night in the Wakefield courtyard. In the morning, students will clean up and begin the school day. Students who are participating will be accepting pledges to raise money for the Arlington Street People’s Assistance Network.
The event will take place from 7:00 pm -7:00 am on Thursday, MARCH 30-31. All pledges and donations will be collected and donated to A-SPAN by Friday, May 5.
