Students Against Duke Unionization

Our mission statement is as follows: "We are a group of students concerned about the consequences of the current effort to unionize Duke graduate students under SEIU. Our goal is to gather information about collective bargaining as students and the prospect of SEIU representing Duke graduate students. We hope that to give a voice to students who harbor concerns about the current unionization effort and that we can foster an open dialogue between anti-union, pro-union, and undecided students."
The prounion organization on campus has the benefit of SEIU funding and Duke administration is legally not allowed to assist us. Our own money has got us this far, but in order to make more progress on our efforts we will need to raise some funds. We have decided to turn to our friends and family to help us spread the word about negative implications of a graduate student union at Duke University. Here, we promise complete transparency in how every cent of this money will be spent. We will add updates with purchases/receipts so that anyone who donates will have full confidence the funding is being managed properly. We wrote up some expected costs that can also be found below this description if you would like to see where and how we hope to move forward in our campaign.
