This year Lake Highlands High School Theater is presenting "Disney’s Mary Poppins". We are bringing in Flying by Foy to install a flying rig so that the students can have the opportunity to learn from professionals how to fly onstage. This is the first time ever that flying will be brought to the Lake Highlands’ stage. We need your help to fund this exciting addition to the show. Before any set is built or costume sewn, we spend $6,300 in royalties and administrative costs for each musical. Richardson ISD provides the department a budget of $3,300, not just for the musical, but for the entire season. This includes five shows, staff training, and paying competition fees. The remaining funds are raised by the students.
Student Focused
Unlike many other high schools, we do not hire professionals to do our lighting or build our sets. We are completely student focused.

• Costumes are not rented, but created by students.
• The lighting and sound are completely designed and installed by students.
