Student's Service Dog Needs Surgery
Donation protected
My service dog needs immediate surgery for a cruciate ligament rupture on one of her back legs. If she were a human you might say she "blew out her knee" or it is an ACL injury.
I am a quadriplegic (spinal cord injury) student that lives in the Minneapolis area and I attend college at The University of Arizona in Tucson. My service dog, Mia, is a big part of my day to day activities. She picks up things I drop (which happens a lot everyday), she opens doors, she hits accessible door buttons that may be hard for me to reach, she can turn on lights and so much more. Mia is the reason why I'm able to more things independently and she is a great buddy!
The surgery is very expensive for a college student's budget. I really appreciate any donation.
Thank You!
