Survivors & Mates Support Network (SAMSN) is a not-for-profit organisation working to increase public awareness of the effects that childhood sexual abuse can have on men in their adult lives. SAMSN employs psychologists and social workers who have experience working with male survivors, to facilitate support groups for men, their families and supporters.

In memory of Stuart Kidd and in partnership with SAMSN, any funds you donate will provide direct support for families and secondary victims of child sexual abuse through SAMSN’s Supporters Workshops: a workshop for partners, family and friends of male survivors.

SAMSN recognises the challenges that family members and friends of survivors can struggle with when trying to provide support to their loved one. These workshops provide a safe space for partners, family friends and adult male survivors themselves to discuss commonly faced issues including:

-       Impacts of child sexual abuse on men’s later relationships

-       The types of support that work

-       Supporters caring for themselves

Any man who has suffered from the effects of child sexual assault should know it was not his fault and that healing and recovery is possible. Regardless of his ethnicity, sexual orientation, age, or religion any man can contact SAMSN for support.
