Stroke and Multiple Bypass

Donation protected

Bill Briley is a hard working man--one of the hardest working people I've ever known in my life. He owns his own business, is a husband, and a father of two beautiful daughters (one, I'm happy to say is my wife!). He's had a hard life but has never let that stop him from giving to anyone in need. He's active in his church. He has a nice little piece of land in the hills of north central Tennessee about 45 minutes north of Nashville where the family grows a large garden. Bill is the kind of person to give you the shirt off his back if you needed one. He's just simply a good person.

On June 23rd, he was at home and his wife, Sherry, noticed that he was sitting in his chair a little weird. She watched him for a short time then realized he was having a STROKE!! She immediately called 911 and when the paramedics showed up, they confirmed that he was having stroke symptoms. They loaded him up into the ambulance and were going to take him to a hospital in Nashville. On the way there he took a turn for the worse and the paramedics had to take him to the closest hospital which was Sumner Regional Medical Center in Gallatin, TN.

Once at the hospital, the doctors and nurses did their thing. They did a CAT Scan and an MRI. Through those test, it was confirmed that Bill, in fact, had a stroke. It turns out is was a pretty serious one at that! They also found that he was Atrial Fibrillation or "A-Fib". The doctors admitted Bill into the hospital for more tests and observation. So far, Bill has been in the hospital for 4 days. On June 27th, the doctors decided to put a stent in Bills heart to help with the A-Fib.  When they went to put the stent in, they found one artery 100% blocked, one 80% and multiple more partial blockages.  He was then transported to TriStar Centennial Medical Center in Nashville, TN to undergo a multiple bypass heart surgery.  That surgery is scheduled for Friday, June 29th. With that being said, Bill and Sherry need some help.

Bill is the only source of income for his family. With being in the hospital, Bill obviously can't work. What little money they had saved up is quickly running out and that isn't even calculating what the medical bills will be.

I'm trying to raise $15,000 for them to off-set the time Bill cannot work (at least 4 weeks) and some of the medical expenses. Any help, no matter how small, would be greatly appreciated. Bill has helped so many people, including me and my family countless times. Please help me help him in his time of need. Thank you for reading.
