Stop SB277- 4/15 LA/OC to SAC Edu

The California Senate Education Committee will hear SoCal voices oppossing SB277 on April 15th @ 9am!
** There is interest to leave later than 2pm and attend the Health Committee meeting to oppose SB792 that would mandate the CDC adult vaccine schedule for all day care workers including home daycares.
Headcount Update: confirmed 43 out of 56 inquiries (13 open seasts as of 9 am 4/14)
A seat donation of $100 or what you can afford to commit. Sponsorship for hardship is available. (Kids are welcome -- make sure they can travel well it equals a 7 hr plane ride -- folks will want to sleep on the way up)

Details:
* Bus leaves at 10pm on April 14th (7 hr drive approx) drives through the night. Think of it like a plane red eye.
* Bus has two maybe three OC pickup cities (Mission Viejo & Yorba Linda and Los Angeles Union Station)
* DRESS BUSINESS CASUAL & PROFESSIONAL
* Bring a Go bag and your SB277 SIGNAGE! Visit Our Kids, Our Choice on Facebook for great banners and signs to print at Staples.
* Bus arrives at Capitol around 6 AM (get coffee & freshen up) Coolers are allowed so if you have special dietary needs -- bring your own food and drink!
* Bus leaves the Capitol around 2 pm
* Bus back in Orange County (9-10 pm) April 15th
This is a cost effective way to get people to Sacramento that do not want to fly, deal with security, rent a car, get a hotel room etc. This is a great way to build community and connect!
Why:
SB277 seeks to remove legal Personal Belief Exemptions (includes religous) that parents can use to opt-out of school mandated vaccinations. It would deny children the right not only to a public, private (parochial) but also a homeschool education as it is currently written. This bill violates every parents constitutional, civil, religious, human and parental rights to decide what is best for their child in health and education.
The government does not own our children's bodies and should not be allowed to inject our children with unlimited vaccines. We are a grassroots movement not against vaccines we are individuals and parents for Vaccine Choice and Informed medical consent when risk of adverse reactions are involved.
Vaccine adverse reactions are real as many moms have already experienced with ourselves and/or our children. We want safe and ethical vaccines with the choice to fully vaccinate, delay, be selective or never vaccinate. Forced vaccine mandates are not the answer to the recent Disneyland measles outbreak. A healthy immune system is what saves lives against disease--vaccine preventable or not!
The US govt has paid out 3 Billion to date for serious adverse reactions. The US supreme court has ruled that vaccines are "unavoidably unsafe" and given vaccine manufacturers and medical practitioners full immunity from any harm that may result from the vaccines. If there is a medical risk, there must be a choice!
Please support all California parents ability to decide if vaccines are right for their families. PARENTS CALL THE SHOTS, not govt, not doctors, not school admins/teachers!!!
