Veterinarian Funds

Donation protected
Our mare Foxy an 11 year old Arabian foaled on Saturday July 7th at 230 am approximately, foal is doing good so far except for wind blown , he is getting stronger and more and more active each day. Foxy on the other hand is doing okay other than due to placenta not expelling properly and in a timely manner she had to go to the veterinarian in Sauk Center to get the placenta removed but by the time we got there and vet started to clean up her vulva area it came the rest of the way out or most of it anyways, the vet looked at the sack and felt that it may have all came out except for possible very small piece. She flushed foxy out with four iv bags of solution and gave foxy some medications to induce contractions and the uterus to expell the remaining materials that could be inside, and also gave foxy several medications for antibiotics to try to stop infection but it seems she could still have gotten infection.

We are keeping the medication routine going and working on getting a vet to see her who will accept payments but that is hard to do these days being its all about money. I already spent over $600 dollars Saturday in which we were not expecting to pay that much, and in which was our house payment so we are also looking for ways to cover that as well. Normally we would have the funds but lately we have been dealing with other emergencies as well such as our water bladder for our well went out, we had to fix a flat tire for our mini van, and we have to replace our furnace as ours is not working, and we had a couple other emergency vet issues as well of which a couple were rescued animals and was life and death situation. My rescue does not have the funds or we could borrow the funds from that but we don't have the funds at the moment.

Foxy can die quickly if we do not get her treated or flushed again right away to very soon. I have call into a closer vet and who may be able to flush her out cheaper than we paid for other vet.  Not sure the cost until he calls us back, but we are looking for donations to try to cover this flush and future flushes just in case she needs more than one.

We need to keep her going for baby as well as she is my fiances horse and helps him to bring up his confidence.

We estimated the cost to $2500 which would cover costs incase she or colt need to see vet again until both are stable.

I am going to talk to vet as well and see if people can pay him directly towards our bill too.

I also have a pay pal account for our rescue in which donations can be applied that way and this would also provide verification of where it was used and how it was used. I will also start sharing comments to include receipts of each vet service we have performed on foxy or the foal... right now it seems foxy is the most urgent and needs care as early as today to ensure we can save her life. Will share updates, pics and more as I can. Thank you in advance.

Even a $1 from each friend or family member can help us get this done.. I am hoping the vet gets back to me soon and he will work with us and let us either let dona tors pay the vet directly or lets me pay a week from Friday when we will have some funds.
