Help us build a more inclusive creators' platform

When Naomi Wu was banned from Patreon I knew I had to do something. Like Wu, I’m a techie. I love building things, coding and computers. Seeing Wu lose her income seemed like one more example of the endless struggles we face as women in tech.

That’s why I built Sther (pronounced "esther"). It’s a benefit corporation that is a more inclusive Patreon alternative that supports and promotes LGBTQIA+ and others from marginalized groups as well as their allies. Yes, that means white (straight) guys are welcome, too. :)

Content creators face discrimination and abuse online on a daily basis. It’s time that we build a platform that focuses on making a better and more inclusive Internet.

The company is incorporated as a benefit corporation, the framework for the platform is done and we already have users testing the site, including Naomi Wu.

We need funding to keep the platform alive. We have hosting fees, merchant fees, and developer fees to contend with. Let’s face it, we don’t have venture capital so it’s hard for Sther to compete on just pennies and wishful thinking.

I hope you’ll help make Sther a real success. A better world is possible.

Thanks for your support,
Margot.
