On Saturday, September 12th, Steve was doing what he loved and had done for 25 years - inspecting and performing maintenance on an amusement park ride. That day it was the SkyRide at Expo Square. Due to equipment failure, Steve was in an accident. Tragically, he did not survive. 

Steve leaves behind a beautiful family: his wife Katie, daughter Hannah, and his unborn son who is due in 2 weeks. 

Steve's loss has left a hole in many hearts, and the outpouring of love from those who knew him has been overwhelming. Many have asked how they can help. As a loving tribute to Steve, we humbly and gratefully request that those who wish to assist with funeral expenses do so through this fund.
