Better than flowers - Steve Robson

Our local community was devastated by the recent news that Steve Robson suddenly passed away from a heart attack just before Easter weekend.
Melissa would never ask for help, she is a strong woman who is always a giver, but Steve leaves behind 6 children so lets make sure the kids are looked after.
This will leave a huge void in their lives and no doubt there will be an unexpected financial burden on the family at this time. Please help out Melissa and the family in anyway you can. The funds will go directly to the family.
Below is a message that Melissa posted to facebook about Steve, the love of her life. I wanted to share with you all as her words are a beautiful tribute to the love they had...
"Thank you all for your beautiful messages of love and sorrow. We are deeply saddened to lose Steve. He was larger than life, when he entered a room he just filled the space with his energy and strength. Women gushed over him and men were drawn to him. His presence intimidated some people, but that was their story.
He is the most attractive, vibrant, charismatic, passionate, caring and loving person I will ever know. He gave me love and joy when I never thought it possible. I am so honoured, grateful and even humbled that such a magnificent man chose me to be his wife, to be a step mum to his treasured children, to be his lover and best friend.
There is such a void in all of our lives now. I can't really accept he is gone. I think it will take a while and I just ask you all to please remember him, celebrate him, keep his memory alive and be there in the coming weeks and months when the shock wears off and the true, sad reality sets in that he's not coming home.
I keep listening out for his Hilux to pull in out the front, for my big, burly, handsome husband to come through the front door, usually on the phone to someone from MDC, talking loudly and making a commotion! The dogs jump up and run to him, he calls Hendrix "fatso" and Xena his "pretty girl". And then he comes to me, wraps me up in those big arms and kisses me.
I'm nowhere near ready for this to be over.... I'm just trying to keep him alive a little while longer..... xxxxx"
