Steven's heart surgery and rehab

STEVEN GARCIA  discovered he had an unusual heart defect at the age of nineteen.  After several  tests, the doctors discovered a hole in his heart that would require immediate surgery.  Unfortunately, the surgery was not successful. The surgeon realized that the hole in his heart was too large & now requires open heart surgery.  We are not prepared for what is to come and are asking for help with medical expenses. Due to the nature of his urgent medical condition, the surgery has been scheduled for May, 26 2017.

As a scholar athlete at Citrus College, my brother has excelled both in his performance in football and in his education. By the age of twenty, Steven has received four AA degrees and had received football scholarships which he will unfortunately not be able to accept as he is no longer not able to play football. He is now enrolled at Long Beach State.

Steven is the most giving and caring person I know. Steven has always been someone we can all count on. Only two years apart I have always been there to protect Steven, now faced with the situation I feel broken as I am unable to protect him.

Our goal is for my little brother to receive the best treatment, and recovery there is to offer. We appreciate your donations, considerations and prayers.
