Steve Jepson's Dialysis Journey

Donation protected
Hi everyone, thank you for taking the time to visit our page we’ve set up for our friend, Steve Jepson.

Steve is a devoted father, husband, and local real estate agent. In December of 2017, Steve was diagnosed with severe kidney failure. Because of this, Steve has had to undergo 4-hour dialysis treatments three times a week. To make matters worse, Steve’s car recently stopped working which has forced him to rely on medical transportation provided by his insurance company to attend dialysis treatments.

His son, Steven, is 9 years old and is mid-spectrum autistic. Steven is not yet potty-trained and requires special care throughout the day.

Dialysis is an extremely tough treatment process and can take a lot out of a person - but Steve is a fighter. He wakes up at 3:00 AM every day and finishes his dialysis by 8:30 AM so he can still lead a productive day.

Raising an autistic son certainly comes with its challenges, and between Steve and his wife, they do the best they can to give Steven an enriching life. Steve’s wife works at a board and care and is forced to leave for three days at a time, leaving Steve to take care of his son.

The loss of his car coupled with his medical difficulties has caused him to be unable to work, and medical bills are quickly piling up. Steve is a local real estate agent with extensive knowledge of the San Diego market. Steve hopes to be able to get back to work soon but, in the meantime, Steve needs our help.

What We Are Trying To Do

We are trying to raise money for Steve so he can focus on getting back to doing what he loves. We have donated a TruLine Painting company vehicle to Steve, but we are trying to raise money to get Steve back on his feet. We have asked Steve that once gets back on his feet, that he helps pay it forward by helping us to raise money for the Autism Tree Project Foundation and for our homeless outreach campaign.

Steve’s ability to adapt during these hard times is an inspiration to us all, and we hope you will consider donating to this cause - every little bit counts.

Additionally, if you are unable to donate but still want to help, even just sharing this page via social media will go a long way. Thank you very much for taking the time to read about Steve’s story – we appreciate your time and generosity.

Sincerely,
