 BRENTWOOD, TN
The Steiner Family had significant damage to their home due to the storms that ran through Middle Tennessee. This family has two special needs adults living in the home taken care of by a family member who is disabled herself.  They have been forced out of the home because of damage to the electrical service and will not be able to return to the home for the unknown future. Please help this family in this time of need. Thank you.

Good Evening Donors,
I wanted to update you on who will be responsible for oversight of distribution of the funds you have generously donated.

Victoria Joan Quick is the oldest Steiner daughter. Her last name is different due to being married and widowed.

Joan lives on the Steiner property--in a small house that was not damaged by the tornado.

As am one of 2 co-conservators for Dede Steiner and Chuckie Steiner, she takes care of all the financial details of running the Steiner family home, paying the bills, grocery shopping, taking family members to appointments, etc.

As the only insured driver of their specially equipped van--on the Steiner auto policy, she is responsible for the transporting Chuckie and Dede to various destinations.

The GoFundMe funds in their checking account and savings account, with some of the funds initially going to replace a freezer that was damaged due to power surge frying all the circuits when the electric connection was ripped off the house during the tornado--cheaper to replace than to fix.

In the interest of accountability, I wanted to inform that the funds you have donated will be distributed in the most responsible way. Please continue to keep this family in your prayers as they still have a ways to go in the recovery.

Thank you all for your contributions. Karen, Chuckie, and Deedee are back in their home as of last Friday. While there is still much work to be done to the home and cleaning up the yard of debris, enjoying the comforts of home is a big relief to the family. Please continue to life this family up in your prayers.

Wow! I am just overwhelmed by the generosity of people reaching out to this family. Many people and organizations are stepping up to give money, provide services, supply equipment, help clean up, fix up and get this family back on track to get into their home. Thank you for your prayers and support. We are well on our way and the family truly appreciates all you are doing. What a testimony of "Doing to the least of these."
