First of all I would like to thank you for  taking the time to click on the link and read my story. 

I have attached a link to my blog of 2 stories in which I have written since the accident and how my life is now and what I am going through. If you could take your time to read them it may help you understand a bit more.

I am 24 year old girl and live in Geelong and this is my story.... 

As someone of you no in june 2016 I was in a serious accident in Thailand. Where I was hit by an oncoming jet ski. I was t boned at about 60kph. I sustained multiple injuries. I fractured leg in 3 places. I fractured my pelvis and had disc profusion in my L5-S1 in my spine. Whilst in Thailand I was blackmailed by the doctors there who wanted $20000 off me to have surgery there. As you could imagine I didn’t want to stay there! I wanted to go home. The doctor said to me he wouldn’t allow me to fly home. He stated he wouldn’t sign the form allowing me to fly unless I give him $20000. He said the only way he will sign it is if I can walk and sit. A day went by and I had to prove to him that I could walk and sit so I could get home! Finally 3 days past and he finally allowed me to go home. We were on the next plane out of there! 

Long story short I now suffer from chronic pain, depression, aniexty and PTSD. I have been seeing a pain specialist in Geelong for a year now to help control my pain. I have had 3 surgical procedures at which none have worked and have cost me over $10000. 

Each month I have medication to buy, appointments to go to and new scans needing to be done.

unfortunatly for me I have not received any compensation for my accident. My travel insurance only covered me for any treatment I had in Thailand. 

I have tried to apply for help through Centrelink but I get denied because I can’t claim my accident as it happened overseas. 

I tried sueing the drunk girl who hit me but unfortunately my lawyer will not procede with this as the girl has no money or assets. 

I was starting to loose hope. My bank account was getting lower and lower. I cannot work full time as my pain intensity goes above and beyond.

I sold my dream car that I had always wanted just because I just can not afford to have nice things. 

Ive been debating to write this and whether I should make one of these pages but I’ve had so much love and support from my family and friends who all said ‘go for it’. 

My next plan is to have a spinal cord stimulator implanted in my spine which is to stop the receptor of pain from the nerves to my brain.

This is the last option I have to help my pain go away and for me to work and live like any other 24 year old girl. 

But I cannot afford this on my own. The procedure is around $40,000. 

I dont want to beg and I hate asking for help but I am at the point where I am not enjoying my life anymore and need to do something to change it.
