Fundraiser for Standup for Kids

Standup for Kids Denver is an all-volunteer run 501(c)3 charity that reaches out to homeless youth in Denver (from kids to youngsters under 25 year old) by going out into the streets every Tuesday evening to provide counseling, essential items and food. They also provide a warm meal for the homeless youth every Sunday evening.

The organization has been very fortunate to receive many generous donations of goods and non-perishable food items. These get selectively handed out to the homeless youth when they need them.

The organization urgently needs to raise funds to be able to rent storage for this year or longer, because on February 29th they will lose the free storage they were lucky to be able to use.

The goods were getting stored in a 10x20 public storage unit. Free storage (under certain circumstances can be tax-deductible) is almost impossible to find, so the organization now needs to raise funds to be able to rent storage for minimally 12 months, but preferably more.

Standup for Kids will be very thankful, but more importantly it will help the young people on the streets of Denver. The goods they receive help them be able to clean up, rest up, be fed and therefore improve their chances to find employment and break the cycle of homelessness.
