Monika’s beautiful, sweet mother unexpectedly passed away this morning. Now Monika is faced with the task of getting her mother’s body back to Poland, the country of her birth, for a final farewell. Please help Monika cover the costs of her mother’s unexpected passing.
A Courageous Battle with Cancer
Monika’s mother, Grace, was diagnosed with cancer 3 years ago. With the support of her loving daughters, Monika and Paulina, she triumphed and was pronounced cancer-free in Autumn, 2015. Then, a few months ago, symptoms returned. Unbeknownst to all, the cancer had recurred, and this time spread too quickly to contain.

Monika has supported her mom throughout this tumultuous journey, and incurred many of the costs associated with her treatments. She is now facing the hardest part, both emotionally and financially, as she begins to make arrangements for the transportation of Grace’s body to Poland, and the following memorial services. Prior to the memorial, international transportation costs and airline fees alone can run between $5000 and $8500, that doesn’t include Monika’s airfare. Grace’s sudden passing was a shock, and not planned for. The family is in a tough situation financially, and desperately needs assistance.
