Stacy is the picture of health. In addition to running the sidelines at her kids' soccer games, she loves to play tennis and she's a marathoner.
A couple of weeks ago she was in Utah at a BYU soccer camp for her kids and just plain felt lousy. She had been throwing up for a couple of days and then started to vomit blood. Her husband (Mark) took her to the hospital to find out that she tore the base of her esophagus!
Back home in Las Vegas, she still felt pretty crummy and after a doctor's visit or two and a failed antibiotic run, she was diagnosed with Stage IV colon cancer with metastasis to the liver and spleen. Her first words were --- "this was found at stage 4. And my liver has 50% of tumors on it. This doesn't mean ANYTHING. I'm telling the world- I AM A FIGHTER‼️ I WILL KICK CANCER'S BUTT‼️ I WILL MAKE A FULL RECOVERY‼️"
Mark is self-employed and Stacy is a stay-at-home mom. They have a high deductible medical plan so this GoFundMe is to help them (though they would never ask for help) meet those deductibles to alleviate some of the stress so that they can focus on the important stuff - Get Stacy Well and keeping their kiddos happy and as stress-free as possible.
