Stacy G: Let's walk with her near & far

Donation protected
Stacy is an incredibly strong woman.  She puts on the superwoman cape every single day and serves everyone around her, even when she actually should be the one being served.  Honestly, serving others is just simply her way of life.

Since her nursing career started after graduating from Azusa Pacific University (1994), she has helped the littlest, bravest survivors of cancer at Children’s Hospital of LA to the marginalized women and children across the globe (Honduras, Albania, and more recently leading humanitarian efforts in Afghanistan).

She eventually found her way to the field of hospice (focused on pediatrics) after surviving her own difficulty journey with breast cancer forcing her departure from her work in Afghanistan. While still managing her own pain/treatment plan, she has been offering care and encouragement for the past 8 years to those that also needed help.

Three days before the devastating CAMP Fire, her world turned upside down again.  She was diagnosed with a very rare kids cancer (Ewing’s Sarcoma), prevalent in only 0.46% in adults. Due to the rarity of this cancer, she has been referred to Stanford Hospital (4 hours away), for an expected year long journey of several rounds of chemo, complex surgery, and eventually recovery.

While each of us would love to be with her and just give Stacy a big hug and share some laughs, tears, and coffee... I would like to ask that you consider putting on your "super friend” cape today and consider helping Stacy.  As you can imagine, this is going to be a long journey, with lots of expenses.  Would you consider donating today?

Each one of us can give her a “hug” today and let her know we are going to walk together with her on this new journey.

She deserves this!
