Sarah's Bat Mitzvah Project

For my Bat Mitzvah (daughter of the Jewish commandment) project I'm raising money for the Eisner Camp Scholarship Fund.  Eisner Camp is located in Great Barrington, MA in the heart of the Berkshires.  I've been going there every summer for the past 4 years.  The reason I chose to do this is because, I really enjoy spending every one of my summers at a place whereI can have fun,  meet new people,  and learn about my Jewish heritage:  All in an entertaining way.   During the middle of the second session,  I was in Limud: A 50 minute period at camp devoted to Jewish learning and activities.  One day, someone came to talk to us about ideas for our Mitzvah projects.  Mitzvah projects teach us about repairing the world and making it a better place.   Although I've been doing Mitzvahs since I was in nursery school, it's especially meaningful for girls and boys who are becoming a Bar or Bat Mitzvah.  The presenter gave us an idea to raise money for the Eisner Scholarship Fund, with some ideas on how we  could do it. I really wanted to raising money for a cause that not only interested me,  but was very special to me.
I love going to Eisner Camp and I want to help others to do the same:  To go somewhere where a "summer lasts a life time".

I am also planning to make my own contribution to help reach my goal.  Please feel free to forward this message to your friends and family. Thank you so much for considering a donation.

Love,
Sarah
