POUNDING THE STREETS FOR ADAM
On Sunday 14th October, I will be pounding the streets around Old Trafford in the Manchester Half Marathon. I will be doing so in memory of our neighbour, Adam Lovatt, who was tragically killed on his birthday, just before the Audlem Music festival in May this year.
As a mark of respect to Adam I will be wearing a Manchester United Football Club shirt – this will definitely be more of a challenge to me, than the 13.1 miles – as I am a life-long Liverpool F.C. supporter !
One of the aims of my “£1ing The Streets for Adam” campaign is to ask just a single £1 donation from anyone wishing to sponsor me (or more if desired). The £1 should be donated by using one of the village (Audlem) collection boxes, located in several of the village shops (or post £1 to me direct)- unfortunately this site only allows a minimum donation of £5, so only use this if you wish to donate £5 or more.
All proceeds will go to a charity of Adam’s widow, Claire’s choice.
